How our prices work

Every job starts with a survey. We find the pest, how far it has spread and how it is getting in, and then give you a fixed written quote for the work. Nothing chargeable starts until you have agreed it.

If the job turns out to be materially different once we are there, for example a different pest or a bigger problem than described, we tell you the new price before doing anything more. You are free to say no.

VAT

Any price we publish or put in writing for a household includes VAT, so the figure you see is the figure you pay. Prices for businesses may be quoted plus VAT, and the quote always says which.

What affects the price

• The pest. A single wasp nest is usually one visit. Rats, mice, bed bugs and cockroaches usually need follow-up visits.

• The property. The number of rooms or floors affected, and whether the problem is shared with neighbours in a block or terrace.

• How established it is. A problem found early takes less work than one that has been building for months.

• Proofing. Sealing the gaps pests use to get in is what stops them coming back. The quote says what proofing is included.

• Home or business. Businesses can have a contract with regular visits instead of a one-off treatment, priced after a survey of the site.

Call-out charges

Some visits carry a minimum call-out charge, for example where we attend and the problem turns out not to be a pest. If a call-out charge could apply to your visit, we tell you the amount before we book it.
