Accessibility statement

This statement covers pestgone.co.uk. It was prepared on 29 September 2026, when the website was rebuilt.

What we have done

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In building the site we have:

• used text and background colours with a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 for body text;

• given every link, button and form field a visible focus state, so you can see where you are when using a keyboard;

• marked up each page with headings, landmarks and labelled form fields, so screen readers can move around it;

• made every page work at screen widths from 320 pixels without sideways scrolling, and with text zoomed;

• kept motion to gentle entrances, and switched it off when your device asks for reduced motion;

• given images text descriptions, and kept decorative images hidden from screen readers;

• made the enquiry form usable without a mouse, with clear labels and error messages.

Known issues

• Some images carried over from our previous website have short or general descriptions. We are improving them as pages are updated.

• Where the web chat is shown, it is provided by our chat service and may not meet every part of the standard.
