Silverfish
Silverfish are quite common in homes and thrive in dark, humid and damp conditions. They mainly are found in and around kitchen, bathrooms and basements but can survive in most environments.
Their name derives from the silvery blueish shimmer of their bodies and the fish-like movement when crawling.
