Raynes Park and SW20
Raynes Park grew up around its station, where the railway splits. The shops and cafés on Coombe Lane and Kingston Road serve streets of Edwardian terraces and 1920s and 1930s semis. Uphill, West Wimbledon and Cottenham Park have larger houses and more trees. To the south, West Barnes and Wimbledon Chase are interwar suburbs. Beverley Brook and its green corridor run along the western side.
The streets around South Wimbledon tube station are SW19, on our SW19 page.

Seasons in SW20
Spring and summer. Wasp queens choose lofts, air bricks and garden sheds, and by July nests can be large. See wasp control.
Autumn and winter. Mice come in under floors and through gaps at pipes; rats shelter under decking and sheds. Gardens backing onto the railway and Beverley Brook are the most affected. See mice control and rat control.
All year. Squirrels in lofts near Cottenham Park and the tree-lined roads. See squirrel control.
Shops on Coombe Lane
Cafés and food shops by the station can book one-off treatments or planned visits. See retail pest control.
Nearby: Wimbledon SW19, Mitcham CR4 and Putney SW15. See Merton.
